Installation of Freight Elevator
1. Read and understand the safety instructions before beginning any
cargo lift elevator installation work.
2. Prepare the foundation. Lay the concrete foundation as per the plan and diagram provided. Be sure to level it with appropriate tools and make sure all the bolts and nuts are tight.
3. Assemble the hoistway framework. Once the foundation is ready, assemble the hoistway framework according to the instructions and plan provided.
4. Install the hydraulic lift motor. Place the motor at the desired location and secure it properly.
5. Install the freight elevator lift mechanism. This step involves connecting the lift car and the cables, setting up the structure for the lift, and attaching the pulleys to the top of the hoistway.
6. Set up the electrical components. Connect the power supply and the wiring of the lift motor. Connect all the safety devices to the lift motor, such as button panels, emergency stop switches, etc.
7. Place the lift car onto the lift mechanism. Place the lift car onto the lift mechanism, and connect the cables to the lift motor.
8. Test the cargo lift. Turn on the power, press the main switch, and make sure that the lift runs smoothly.
9. Make the necessary safety checks. Make sure all the safety systems are operational and that the lift runs without any unnecessary jerking or shuddering.
10. Final Check. Make sure there are no loose connections or wires, and that all the buttons and switches work properly.
